Using this site

This website is published by Genova. By using it, you accept the terms on this page. If you do not, please stop using the site.

You may read, print, and share these pages for your own purposes. You may not scrape the site, republish it, or use it to build a competing service.

This site is not a contract

Everything here is published to help you decide whether to talk to us. None of it is an offer, a quotation, or a commitment to build.

Every Genova home is governed by its own signed construction agreement, which sets out the scope, the price, the schedule, and the terms. Where anything on this site differs from that agreement, the agreement governs. Nothing on this page changes it.

Photographs, renderings, and work in progress

The homes shown on this site are our own work, and we say plainly which stage each one is at. Some are finished and photographed. Some are still under construction. Some are renderings of houses that are not built yet, and are labelled as such in the portfolio.

A rendering shows a design intent, not a finished building. Materials, finishes, landscaping, and detailing change during a build, and the finished house may differ from the image. Nothing shown here is a promise that your home will look the same, cost the same, or take the same amount of time. Every site and every family is different.

Square footage, timelines, and cost ranges mentioned anywhere on this site are approximate and are given for orientation only.

Our content

The photography, renderings, floor plans, text, and design of this site belong to Genova or to the photographers and designers we work with, and are protected by copyright. The Genova name and logo are our marks.

Please do not reuse our photographs or copy without asking first. If you want to use something, get in touch. The answer is often yes.

What you send us

When you send us an enquiry, you confirm that what you have told us is accurate and that you are entitled to share it. We handle it as described in our Privacy Policy.

Please do not send confidential drawings or documents through a web form. If you have plans to share, tell us and we will arrange a sensible way to receive them.

Links to other sites

We sometimes link to architects, publications, and other people we work with. Those sites are not ours and we do not control them. A link is not an endorsement of everything on the other end of it.

No warranties for the site

We keep this site accurate and current, but we publish it as it is. We do not warrant that it will be uninterrupted, error free, or free of anything harmful, and we do not warrant that every detail is complete or up to date at the moment you read it.

This concerns the website only. It has no effect on the warranties in a construction agreement for an actual home, which are set out in that agreement.

Limits on liability

To the extent the law allows, Genova is not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from your use of this website. Nothing in these terms limits any liability that cannot lawfully be limited.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict of laws rules. Any dispute about this website belongs in the state or federal courts of Orange County, California.

Changes to these terms

We may update this page as the site changes. The date at the top tells you when it was last revised, and continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the revised terms.
